Turkey Trot 5k
Friends of Micah Turkey Trot 5k Run/Walk, and Coker Orthodontics Youth 1 Mile Run will be held rain or shine on Thanksgiving Morning!
Packet Pickup at the Fredericksburg City Library from 11 AM to 5 PM on Wednesday, November 25. You may also register at this time.
Race day - Packet Pickup and registration is available ($30.00) for the 5k only. No race day registration for the mile. Packet pickup is at 7-9 AM also at the City Library.
Awards will be handed out for Overall and Master Winners only for the 5k. All other award winners in both the 5k and Youth Mile will be mailed.

Course is USATF Certified 5k course - begins at 9:05 am in front of City Library.
Coker Orthodontics Youth 1 Mile Run Course - starts in front of City Library as well on Caroline Street and finishes near the TruLuv's Restaurant on Sophia Street.
Port-Johns are located near the 5k staring line (across from the Library on Lewis Street).
Race course is not closed to traffic, so please obey all traffic regulations pertaining to pedestrians and vehicles.
Chip Timing - All 5k runners an walkers must pick up their chip behind the City Library parking lot on Sophia Street. you must present your race number in order to pick up your timing chip. Please use the ankle strap to wear the chip on your right ankle. Do not tie the chip into your shoelaces. Also note that results are based on finish line time (first to cross, first to place).
Once you have finished the race, you will remove the chip and strap and leave them in one of the buckets provided in the finish area before you exit the finish area.
If you are unable to finish the race, please return your ankle strap and chip to the finish line area.
Race day registration and packet pickup will be inside the City Library from 7-9 AM.
Walkers will start at the same time as the runners and should line up BEHIND the runners.
Please do not line up at the start line until the course is ready (approximately 9am). Final instructions will be made before you move into the start line area.
Refreshments will take place at the TruLuv's Restaurant parking lot immediately after you exit the finish area.
There is no POST RACE AWARD CEREMONY! All Awards will be mailed to winners following Thanksgiving Day.
